Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components
An upgrade item is a unique item that will make certain Pokemon change. The upgrade is made by spinning a PokeStop photo disc. It's often given as a prize in Pokemon GO events.
item upgrades can also be put in armor, weapons trinkets, and gathering tools to increase the level of their item. The upgrade costs Flightstones and crests, depending on the type of item.
Upgrade components
Upgrade components can be slotted into armor, weapons, trinkets, and gathering tools to provide bonus effects or attribute bonuses while the equipment is being used. The equipment that is upgraded must have an available upgrade slot to accommodate the component, and most upgrade components require the item to be upgraded to be above the specified level. Some upgrade components have special visual effects that can be seen when they are used. Upgrade components can be obtained through crafting, purchased by karma merchants or traded with other players via the Trading Post. They can also be salvaged from equipment and redeemed as rewards.
There are a variety of upgrade components available, each offering various bonuses. Universal upgrades, which include gems and inscriptions, can be used with any kind of equipment; they provide less bonuses than other types of upgrade components. Infusions can be found in non-amulet equipment that is ascended and legendary equipment, and enrichments are utilized for certain items that are ascended back. Inserting an upgrade component will cause the destruction of the previous upgrade. There are exceptions for glyphs (which can only be used in gathering tools) and enchantments, which can be removed and put back in.
Insignias, enchantments, and prefix/suffix upgrades will be displayed in the hover display of the item, while they will be added to the equipment's name (e.g. the word Radiant Insignia would change the name into Radiant Tyrian Armor). The tooltip of an item will display the number of upgrades that have been added to it.
Glyphs
Glyphs are special characters that can be inserted into an OpenType font to add functional or decorative elements like ligatures and ornaments, fractions, swashes registered trademark symbols and ellipses. The Glyphs panel allows you to see and insert these particular characters as well as normal glyphs, such as em dashes and en dashes registered trademark symbols and glyphs that don't appear in other fonts (such as dingbats).
Each Glyph gives a primary stat boost for the character. The glyph may also include up to four secondary stats that will alter the radius of your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats can be described as a %-increase which is multiplied once other bonuses are applied, with the exception of Speed Glyphs which directly increase the speed of the hero.
Selecting the Glyphs and clicking "enchant" will activate the Glyphs. This will display a new window with the Glyphs you own that can be applied to the item you have selected. You only need to apply the appropriate Glyph to the selected item. Every weapon or jewelry piece has a different collection of Glyphs.

Glyphs can be improved through the use of Nightmare Dungeons or completing Tree of Whisper quests. The more difficult a area is, the greater Glyph experience you'll earn. Once a Glyph is at level 15 it is able to be upgraded on the Glyph Upgrade Altar. Upgrades to a Glyph increases its radius on the Paragon Board by one node every 15 levels.
When a Glyph is at the desired level, you can activate it. Select it and then click the "enchant button". The resulting Glyph will give its stated benefit, and boost other nodes within its radius on the Paragon Board. Glyphs should be put where they will benefit your build the most. This is why you should consider Magic Glyphs as soon as possible. The glyphs that are rare could offer double bonuses when certain conditions are satisfied which is why they're worth checking out for too.
If you're having trouble finding a particular glyph, click the cycle widget on the Glyphs panel to display the panel in a number of different views. Each of these views will display the Glyphs using a different font. You can reduce the number of glyphs you want to see by selecting an option beneath "Entire Font". For example, punctuation only displays punctuation glyphs. Math Symbols limit the choices to mathematical symbols.
Rerolling
Rerolling is a method in which you create a new account to give yourself more chances to pull the character or weapon you are interested in. It can assist you in gaining more experience or to gain better loot, like a better weapon for your character. Many players will play until the character they desire is available, regardless of its ability. It could be because they like the design or the personality of the character.
When you reroll, you need to make sure that the changes you are making are safe. This means you should verify locally that the patch passes the pre-commit tests and conduct a core development test. It is also recommended to upload the patch to an issue with a plain diff (see What's the deal with an interdiff? ).
Rerolls can be weeks or days long, depending on how lucky you are. To cut down on time be sure to avoid the enemy camps which are not mandatory during this period. Additionally, you should avoid re-doing any quests that can be completed later in the game. This can save time and energy.
Another crucial aspect to remember when rerolling is making sure you are aware of the upgrade system. There are several ways to improve your character's power and appearance. Upgrades, rerolling characters or upgrading weapons are all options. In addition, it is crucial to be aware of the limitations of the upgrade system.
Rerolling might not be an absolute requirement but it's a way to increase your chances of obtaining the right character or weapon. It could be beneficial when you're trying to find the best character to play or if you're looking to test different styles of play and builds.
Sets
A set is a collection of objects with common-2 attributes (like the number of eggs in a dozen, or the members of the class). Sets are used for operations like intersection, union and differences.
When you upgrade a set item, it becomes an upgraded version that is superior to the previous version. This means that the weapon and armor will have a greater defense and lower requirements for strength.
Upgrades are an excellent way to bring popular single-set items to the same level as their higher-tier set counterparts. Upgrades such as Guillaume's Face Helm to Elite Spired helmet can increase the defense by 217 up to 321 and lower the strength and requirements for level to an acceptable range.
However it's important to remember that not all set items are good candidates for upgradation. Certain sets, like the FB Sorc Whistan's Shield spec or Naj's Puzzler staff are already exceptional and elite in their individual ways and do not require any upgrades. On the other hand, certain items that are BiS and have a lot of use (like Goldwrap) may benefit from being upgraded to increase their stats even more. It could be worthwhile to upgrade these items.
